Hand Woven Garnet & Filigree Sautoir Tassel Necklace

Gorgeous garnet and sterling silver beads are hand woven with two 14k solid gold filigree centerpieces to create a charming necklace perfect for wearing everyday and for special occasions. Inspired by the turn-of-the-century jewelry, this necklace is a unique take on the original Sautoir. A sautoir is a french term for a long necklace that suspends a tassel or an ornament. In this case, the necklace is showcasing once a filigree pin and a hat pin. Both pins were re-purposed by hand weaving them with 2mm seed garnet beads and finishing with a lovely tassel. This necklace is truly easy to wear; throw it over your favorite sweater or pair it with a dress. Either way, you will surely be the only one wearing this necklace, as it is a one-of-a-kind. Necklace comes in a unique display box that allows you to enjoy it even when not in use.
