Hand Woven Amethyst & Pearl Sautoir Tassel Necklace

Large & small purple amethyst beads are hand woven with two 14k solid gold antique centerpieces to create a timeless necklace perfect for wearing everyday and on special occasions. Inspired by the turn-of-the-century jewelry, this necklace is a unique take on the original Sautoir. A sautoir is a french term for a long necklace that suspends a tassel or an ornament. In this case, the necklace is showcasing a once Victorian pearl, amethyst and diamond pin and an antique pearl slide. Both pieces were re-purposed by hand weaving them with 2mm and 4mm amethyst beads and finishing with a lovely tassel. Tassel can be removed for a different look. This necklace is truly easy to wear; throw it over your favorite sweater or pair it with a dress. Either way, you will surely be the only one wearing this necklace, as it is a one-of-a-kind. Necklace comes in a unique display box that allows you to enjoy it even when not in use.
